Terms of use

Last updated October 20, 2026

These terms cover your use of Tally Up, a free workout log you can use on the web and through Claude. By signing in, you agree to them. They’re written to be read, so please do.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 to use Tally Up.
  • You sign in with Google (or Apple, when it’s available), so keep that account secure. Anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to Tally Up as you.
  • One account per person, please.

Your data

What you log is yours. You let Tally Up store and process it only so the service works: to show it to you, chart it, export it and answer Claude’s questions about it. How that works is described in the privacy policy. You can export everything or delete your account at any time.

Using Claude

The Claude connector is optional. Claude is a separate service made by Anthropic, under Anthropic’s own terms. Claude can mishear or misunderstand you, so it reads back what it logged. Check it and correct anything that’s wrong. Tally Up stores what Claude sends and isn’t responsible for what Claude says.

Not medical or training advice

Tally Up records and charts what you tell it. It doesn’t coach, program or give health advice, and nothing in it is a substitute for a doctor or a qualified trainer. Exercise at your own risk, and get medical advice before starting or changing a training program if you have any doubt.

Fair use

Don’t:

  • try to see, change or delete anyone else’s data;
  • probe, overload or work around the service’s limits and security, or scrape it;
  • use automated tools to create accounts, or use Tally Up for anything unlawful.

Accounts that do may be suspended or removed.

The service

Tally Up is free and provided as it is, without guarantees. It may change, have downtime, or stop. Data can be lost despite care, so export anything you can’t do without. If Tally Up is ever shut down, the aim is to give notice and time to export first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Tally Up isn’t liable for any loss or damage from using it or not being able to use it, including lost data or injuries from training. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Ending things

You can stop using Tally Up and delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile. Deleting it removes your data permanently.

Changes

If these terms change, this page will be updated along with the date at the top. Using Tally Up after a change means you accept the new terms.
